S & H Family - MOAB TRIP 2008

We stayed at the Moad Rim RV Campark at the south end of Moab that had great views of the city. Great place to stay!!! We visited Klondike Bluffs where we experienced mountain biking and incredible scenery. We also visited Arches National Park. We are hoping to return to Moab so we can visit CanyonLands National Park. Hope you enjoy the pictures we took along the way. ~ CLICK ON EACH PICTURE FOR LARGER VIEW ~

Moab - Klondike Bluffs Trail

Klondike Bluffs Trail is gravel, dirt, sand and slick rock terrain. The trail is 15 miles round trip. We made it up 7 miles. Beautiful scenery and a great work out. Enjoy!!!

may birthdays continued

We had lots of fun at the party playing with cousins, aunts and uncles, grandma and don't forget the chicken. It's the newest addition to the clayson clan.

Tyler chased the chicken til he got it. That's one fast kid. Go Jazz! Sara and Kenzie liked the chicken but just together.

Hey Sara, maybe you could make up a dance. Call it the Cluck Cluck Chicken Dance!

Hey Tyler, who's your favorite
JAZZ player?

Nicole loves animals and really liked the chicken! Maybe she'll have a zoo someday!

"Hey, which came first, the chicken or the egg?"

Below, Dallon is just proud of his growing chicken.
He showed me what he likes to feed him--bird
seed of course, but it looked like the chicken enjoyed
eating the black net around the sandpile the most!
Yum, tasty!

We all loved it and some dared to hold it. Some (Ben) wouldn'thave a thing to do with it. Oh, well. Wait til next year (above)

The chicken perched right on Dallons shoulder. Aah, what a nice place to make a nest and lay an egg!

Dallon, the human perch!!!!!

Katie thinks it's pretty awesome! Pretty cool having cousins with a chicken. Hey, Uncle Scott, what are you making for dinner anyways!?

Damon wasn't afraid! He was the first one out to show all of us!
He is so careful and kind to animals. Maybe he'll be a vetenarian someday!

This is Dallons chicken he had from school. It was a great idea for a science project! It hatched right from an egg. After the chickens were so old, some of the kids got to take them home. Cool!
